This time around, we note that Baxter International hired Jose Almeida as chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1. Previously, he was ceo at Covidien, which was recently sold to Medtronic for $50 billion. During his tenure there, he carved out the generic drug business to focus on devices and surgical tools.
Mylan hired Ranjan Ray Chaudhuri to as global commercial head of its over-the-counter business;
Roche moved Richard Erwin from Belgium to head its UK operations;
